  1. Differentiate Examination in Chief and Cross Examination under Domestic Enquiry.
  1. Mention the Role of State in regulating Industrial Relations.

  3. What is Gherao?
  4. List out any two objectives of International Labour Organisation.
  5. Expand the following: INTUC, AITUC, BMS, CITU.
  6. What is indiscipline in relation to industry?

  1. Briefly discuss the steps involved in the Grievance Settlement Procedure.
  2. Write short notes on the registration and recognition of Trade Union.
  3. Briefly discuss the principles of collective bargaining.
  4. Analyse the factors responsible for politicization of unions and trade union rivalry.
  5. List out the functions of International Labour Organisation and its impact on labour

policy in India.

Answer any TWO questions.

Each answer should not exceed 600 words.                                          (2 x 20 = 40)

 

  1. Discuss in detail the bipartite and tripartite bodies and their impact on Industrial

Relations in India.

  1. Define “workers’ participation in management” and discuss the levels of participation in

India in comparison to industrially advanced countries.

  1. Critically examine the factors and problems pertaining to collective bargaining in the

light of industrial scenario in India.
